Biggest thing going on, obviously, is the rollout of the new blog site here. While this a hobby and not a full-time project, it has been something I’ve been working on intermittently for several months now, and it’s an awesome feeling to have it over the finish line.
Last year’s Year of Nutritional Intentionality went, overall, pretty well. I got down to almost 50 pounds lost by the end of September, though the combination of winter holidays and bad habit creep-back ultimately brought about 20 of them back. Still, I’m in better shape than I was at the beginning of 2025, and I know what I’d been doing works. The biggest trick at this point is maintaining some discipline (again).
Been through a number of books in the last year since I updated the Now page, including The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius (after having read about them years prior.) Currently reading (for my first time), at the persistent recommendation of Brett McKay, Lonesome Dove.
